All entries must be true stories. These pieces may have been previously published or not, but you must control all rights to the story (including the rights to use any emails you include). Stories may not defame anyone or violate anyone else's copyright, right of privacy or any other third party right. You will be required to submit your screenname, email address, and age, along with your email disaster story but the personal information you submit will not be used for subsequent email solicitation By submitting a story, you grant us (and persons authorized by us) the right to use your story for commercial purposes as we see fit, including the right to publish your work in print, online (on the thinkbeforeyousend.com website and other websites) and in other media, to broadcast audio versions of your work (via streaming media, podcast, radio and/or wireless transmissions), and to edit, modify and adapt your work as may be necessary in connection with any such uses, without additional notice to you. Once you have submitted an entry, this grant of rights cannot be revoked. The decision whether to publish or make other use(s) of your story(ies) will be made by us in our discretion.
